Broom Jack pine is a small, irregularly-shaped evergreen tree. It has medium-length green needles and irregular, curving branches, making it a good focal point, accent plant or specimen tree for a small area.

Grown from a witch's broom selected from Jack pine, this cultivar is only grown by Iseli Nursery. It may take a little searching to locate one available for sale.

There is one Broom Jack Pine growing at the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden. It is a beautiful, small specimen tree that has grown well in a low water area. May be difficult to find for sale in plant nurseries, but is worth the search.

Selective pruning may be needed to shape the tree over time.
