La Veta Lace geranium is a low-growing, mounding perennial flower grown for its attractive leaves and blossoms. The leaves are very finely cut, resembling parsley.

Purple flowers bloom from spring to late summer.

During the winter months, the foliage will take on hints of purple and scarlet. It is not quite as aggressive as some other hardy geraniums, adds interesting texture to borders with its fine foliage, and blooms over a long period of time.

This plant is growing in several locations at the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden. Although La Veta Lace geranium is a beautiful plant, it seems to decline over a period of years and needs to be replaced periodically.

Little to no maintenance is required for this plant.
