Little beauty tulip is a small, spring flower. It grows from fall-planted bulbs. Unlike larger tulips, little beauty is much shorter, only growing a few inches tall. It has beautiful dark pink flowers with a blue and lavender center. It makes a nice splash of color in spring.

Little beauty tulips have grown well at the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden. Their bright colors are a welcome sight in spring. They are quite small, so be sure to plant them in an area where they will be noticed.

Remove spent flowers stalks and leaves after they have yellowed and withered.
