Little princess tulip is a small, spring flower. It grows from fall-planted bulbs. Unlike larger tulips, little princess is much shorter, growing only a few inches tall. It has beautiful bright orange flowers with a brown and gold center.

Little princess tulips have grown well at the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden. Their bright colors are a welcome sight in spring. They are quite small, so be sure to plant them in an area where they will be noticed.

Remove spent flowers stalks and leaves after they have yellowed and withered.
