Pikes Peak purple penstemon has been widely planted throughout the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden. It is an easy plant to grow, has nice leaves, and pretty purple flowers.

Remove old plant material in the spring before new growth starts. Removing the spent flowers will encourage some additional blooms.
